Emmaus (Turvey) Ltd is a company limited by guarantee and governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association dated 29th September 1999 (the Articles were amended on 28th June 2001). The company was incorporated on 11th February 2000, has been registered as a Charity with the Charity Commission since 9th November 2000 and is Affiliated to Emmaus UK.

Emmaus Village Carlton offers a safe environment and support to people in dealing with the many issues surrounding homelessness, enabling them to regain control of their lives by living and working alongside others. The Community can accept people who present with complex problems provided the Community as a whole is able to support them.

Could you help Emmaus Village Carlton by offering your time or expertise as a volunteer?


EVC relies heavily on the support of its many volunteer workers, roles for these are varied and may include: the provision of friendship and support for our Companions (as Emmaus residents are known), working in our businesses which include everything from catering or driving our vans through to working in our shops or recycling operations. There is a suitable job at EVC for anyone and everyone and volunteer workers are absolutely neccessary for our continued success!
